Application Supporter (L2)
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.
We are looking for a 2nd Level Application Supporter with a financial/banking background. For this contract position based in Zurich, our client is looking for an English-speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Scope of work:
- Provide in-depth 2nd level support across a number of in-house high-profile FID/FX trading applications including root cause identification, bug fixing and problem management
- Engaging with application development teams in capacity as Subject Matter Expert within application support to ensure support requirements are delivered with application releases to make them support-ready and on documenting changes
- Leading major incidents including face off to senior managers within business and IT
Skills:
- 5+ years of production support experience of multiple high-profile applications within a large organization ideally within a trading environment
- Understanding of basic business concepts within a bank trading environment (FID/FX products) - Unix/SQL querying (Oracle/Microsoft SQL)/Windows Server/Linux
- Experience in working with service level agreements and ITIL Process

- English is a must, German is a plus
