ALL-INCLUSIVE CHF 700/DAY
A respected international tier-1 banking client of mine are seeking a z/OS Mainframe Application Performance Monitoring Specialist for a job opportunity in Zürich.
As the z/OS Mainframe Application Performance Monitoring Specialist in Zürich, you will be responsible for making suggestions for performance tuning measures in the area of Cobol with DB2/SQL and MQ Series in CICS Transactions. You will be tasked with helping reduce the CPU consumption of the applications.
Some key skills you will need for this job are:
- Good knowledge of z/OS Mainframes
- Cobol programming skills
- DB2 and SQL skills
- German is an advantage
- Application Performance Monitoring tools knowledge such as BMC Mainview, Apptune, etc
This is for a contract job with an initial duration of 6 months. Please note, this role has a workload of 60% (3 days a week).
