Network Engineer
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced Network Engineer to join one of their clients, a well renowned Swiss organisation. For this temporary assignment we are in search of a German speaking candidate who is immediately available and ready to work in Bern.

Key responsibilities:
- Identify the needs and expectations of the company and network users; Development of solution proposals and basis for decision based on the detected requirements
- Specify and create network architectures and concepts
- Develop guidelines for the evaluation and installation of communication equipment
- Development of functional specifications and requirement catalogs
- Conducting evaluations to obtain suitable network components
- Planning, designing and installing networks
- Observing the technical development of networks; Testing new technologies for use in own networks
- Creating network documentation (topology, access rights, Firewall rules, etc.)
- Defining and enforcing the safety and monitoring criteria
- Creating network test concepts; Design, create, perform, monitor and evaluate tests
- assessing security threats and the effectiveness of security measures taken; Initialize, if necessary, appropriate measures to improve safety
You must possess:
- University degree or studies in related field - required
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in network engineering
- Strong knowledge of working with Firewalls
- "Hands-on" mentality and flexibility
- Customer orientation
- Problem-solving skills
- German and English - Fluent written and spoken

Duration: until end of 2018
