Solution Architect ServiceNow wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
Your experience/skills:
- MSc Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 5+ years' experience in IT Service Management combined with know-how of ServiceNow platform, especially ServiceNow CMDB
- Competent handling of Configuration Management Database in support of ITSM processes such as Incident and Event Management
- Confidence with MS Office Tools, MS Project and MS SharePoint, furthermore ITIL certification is beneficial
- Leadership skills within a global Matrix organisation along with excellent communication and change management skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Defining the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) for supporting the setup of ServiceNow CMDB
- Configuring Item Classes for managing in the CMP
- Controlling status of CI Class and associated CI Class Attributes
- Managing requirements for CMDB as per the Asset & Configuration Management process, including logging requirements, status of processes and coordination of changes
- Reporting of CMP status as required and creating foundational CI components in the CMDB
