Drug Product Lead wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- PhD or equivalent education in Pharmaceutical Technology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline with excellent theoretical and scientific knowledge
- 5+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry including extensive understanding of late phase pharmaceutical development activities for biologics, process engineering of sterile dosage form as well as a generally broad scientific and strategic background
- Accurate track record of process transfer, validation and particularly regulatory submissions including health authority inspections
- In-depth background in commercial manufacturing and technical life cycle management of Biologics drug products is beneficial
- Proven successful experience in working with interdisciplinary teams, track record of creativity, problem solving and productivity in projects
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, conversational German
Your tasks:
- Leading the drug product team and representing pharmaceutical development on the CMC sub team
- Designing, performing and monitoring assigned drug product development activities, applying state of the art technologies and meeting quality, quantity and timelines in all assigned projects
- Interpreting results, evaluating data, concluding and generating scientific documents
- Supporting generation of international registration documents for market authorisation including interacting with authorities when necessary
- Acting as a technical expert in audits or inspections and representing pharmaceutical development in external collaborations
- Contributing to overall development strategies and improvement of operational excellence of business processes and to realisation of opportunities for invention disclosures
