NextLink Solutions need to hire a CNS System Developer - (Air Traffic Controllers) - Geneva,Switzerland where all your IT skills will be tested.

Mission:-

Development of a reliable simultaneous transmission detection system for ATC services.
The system shall deliver a specific, audible alarm to the Air Traffic Controller in case of undetected simultaneous transmissions (USiT).
The goal of this mission is to reduce the likelihood of undetected simultaneous transmissions (USiT) for
Air Traffic Controllers, leading to a reduced number of related incidents and increased safety for flight operations.

  • Ability to develop an USiT stand-alone solution in full (SW + HW).
  • Ability to apply the Agile methodology (use of Scrum management and control process).
  • Ability to communicate mainly in English and another national language (German and/or French) with the R&D team.
  • Ability to regularly travel in both Zurich and Geneva, in order to actively participate to LIVE trials and
    tests with the airspace users and our air traffic controllers.
  • Good technical competencies in HF telecommunications (VHF/UHF, AM modulation, etc ).
  • Very good technical competencies in VoIP (SIP/RTP) and audio post-processing (Filtring, FFT, audio
    correlation, pitch detection, delay compensation, etc ).
  • Ability to develop a solution with standardized (EUROCAE ED-137 for radio) and non-standardized
    (SAMAX, direction finder) IP-based protocols.
  • Strong team spirit with good interpersonal and communication skills
