Data Analyst Junior (Scientific & Manufacturing) wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
Your experience/skills:
- University degree in information technology, natural science, statistics or mathematics
- 3+ years' of professional experience with analysing big data sets, data visualization, ideally in pharmaceutical industry
- Solid knowledge in MS Office, Python, R, MatLab or similar software and packages/languages
- Proven track record in software development and big data infrastructures
- Familiarity with analysing biomechanical and sensor data desirable
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a big plus
Your tasks:
- Designing digital biomarkers: defining ways to capture clinical outcomes using sensor data collected from smartphones and wearables
- Developing apps and data processing pipeline: establishing processes, software and infrastructure to handle big data collected from sensors in clinical trials
- Deploying digital biomarkers to clinical studies: generating data to validate approaches and support decision making
- Analysing and interpreting sensor data: Identifying signals for disease severity and progression in sensor data collected from patients in trials
