Leading banking organisation seeks a highly experienced Programme Manager/programme director with strong experience of delivery global projects in the desktop and end user computing space with particular focus on Windows 10 roll outs.
This is a critical management level role with global responsibility for desktop delivery including an initial project to roll out Windows 10 globally. Other projects will involve cloud, wifi, desktop refresh etc. You MUST have previous experience managing and delivery global programmes in the infrastructure and/or desktop/Window environment. You will have 6-8 direct reports of Snr PM's and a Matrix team of circa 80. You should have prior experience of managing and delivering programmes in complex, highly distributed environments with multiple time zones, languages, technical environments and suppliers. The role requires strong hands on technical delivery capability allied to excellent man management and political skills within large complex organisations.
Previous experience in the banking sector would be very welcome but is not essential, although you MUST have worked in similar large scale, global organisations. The role is based in Zurich and strong preference will be shown to candidates with previous experience living and working in Switzerland.
It is essential that you speak German/French and can communicate freely and easily with German speakers in a Swiss work environment.
