For our banking client in Zurich we are currently looking for a Test automation engineer
Start date: 01.12.2018
End date: 31.12.2018
Location: Zurich
Main tasks:
- Design and write programs that run automatic tests on existing trade capture software as an essential part of the software development cycle
- Set and establish testing tools and standards and integrate them to the current build pipeline
- Execute manual and automated test cases
- Liaise with developers during the Software Development Life Cycle and communicate with other departments for infrastructure changes.
- Follow bug reporting and tracking process
- Ensure that defect tracking (identification, fixing, retesting and migration of defects) is properly addressed
- Assist in Quality Assurance of the Application
The ideal candidate shall bring:
- 6+ years of work experience in similar role
- Programming experience with Java and/or Javascript, etc
- Very good knowledge of Jenkins
- Profound understanding of HTML single page applications and comfortable with new web technologies
- Good knowledge of Linux
- UX testing is desirable
- Work experience in a banking, financial industry is desirable
Other important skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
- Ability to work in an agile environment
- Fluent English. German is an advantage
