For our banking client in Basel we are currently looking for a
Windows Server Engineer - System Center
Start date: ASAP
End date:
Location: Basel
Ideal candidate shall bring:
- in-depth knowledge and experience in Windows server technologies: Active Directory, DNS, IIS and File System Security.
- experience with 2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting of technical issues
- profound engineering experience with System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- experience managing Group Policies for large complex environments.
Nice to have:
- System Center Service Manager knowledge (SCSM)
- PowerShell Scripting
- anti-virus technologies and VMware technologies
Other important skills:
- understanding of IT best practice, ITIL fundamentals and their application in a business environment.
- strong team-working skills and cultural awareness.
- good negotiation skills.
- very good communications skills.
- practical experience participating in IT initiatives.
- innovative thinking.
- ability to follow change management procedures.
- initiative, drive and enthusiasm.
- overall knowledge of the dependencies and how they interact, for example with regard to the technologies involved in core server, networking, database and application technologies
