Sybase Developer wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Relevant MS SQL server and Sybase ASE development experience along with Perl Scripting and Linux Shell
- Competency of performing stored procedures and SQL queries
- Know-how of Collateral trading, Repo, Securities Lending and Crystal Reports
- Working experience with JIRA and project delivery via Agile according with developing IT projects in banking sector
- Languages: fluent English written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Performing 3rd level support to first and second level team as well as to end users
- Developing and maintaining stored procedures and Sybase database queries
- Ensuring Linux and Perl written batch jobs and data feeds to downstream systems along with processing of feeds from upstream systems
- Conducting documentation of processes, batch jobs and database schema
- Collaborating with off-shore IT development team and with business users at various level on small projects
