Cloud Architect; Linux; Databases; SAN; VMware; 6 month+; Zurich.
This is one of my favourite Clients to recruit for, they are super techie and have some great projects to get involved with.
The opportunity to learn new technology in this environment is in my opinion second to none.
There is always the possibility to move internally as there is so much going on.
Contract - 6 months+, this role may go contract to perm if you are interested
Start date - as soon as you are available
Location - Zurich
Rate - 750+ CHF per day
Financial background or experience would be advantageous
You will be a visionary, with a passion for building the future and that possess a blend of general business and technology strategy skills.
In this role, you will be responsible for the building Cloud Adoption strategies.
Participating in envisioning future trends and strategic cloud technology for the company.

Experience:
- 5+ years' experience in delivering solutions in a Cloud Consultant or Cloud Advisory role, within a consulting firm or systems integrator
- A background in developing Cloud strategies, infrastructure strategies, operating models, data-centre migration strategies.
- Practical experience in one of infrastructure domains (operations, datacenter, network, workplace)
- Ability to consult on leading cloud platforms (eg Azure, Office 365, AWS and Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and resolve complex issues. Business acumen and strategic mindset.
- Have an open mind to reimagine what is possible
- Strong presentation and communication skills: oral, written, visualization.
- Knowledge of Project- and Program Management methods and approaches
- Knowledge of relevant key public cloud platforms
- Knowledge of relevant frameworks such as ITIL, CobIT
- Knowledge and/or practical industry experience will be a good advantage
- Aptitude to make complex concepts simple and easy to digest.
