Cloud Engineer; Linux; Databases; SAN; VMware; 6 month+; Zurich.
This is one of my favourite Clients to recruit for, they are super techie and have some great projects to get involved with.
The opportunity to learn new technology in this environment is in my opinion second to none.
There is always the possibility to move internally as there is so much going on.
Contract - 6 months+, this role may go contract to perm if you are interested
Start date - as soon as you are available
Location - Zurich
Rate - 750+ CHF per day
Financial background or experience would be advantageous

Experience:
- 5+ years' experience in a Cloud Engineer role, within a consulting firm or systems integrator
- Practical experience of Cloud in one of the following infrastructure domains (operations, data-center, network, workplace)
- Experience of some or all of: Azure, Office 365, AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and resolve complex issues.
- A strategic mindset.
- Have an open mind to re-imagine what is possible
- Experience of Project- and Program Management methods and approaches
- Knowledge of relevant key public cloud platforms
- Knowledge of relevant frameworks such as ITIL, CobIT
- Aptitude to make complex concepts simple and easy to digest.
