We are an IT consultancy and for one of our projects coming up we are looking for a PC Technician (Scientific & Manufacturing) to work for a well-known pharma company in a 2 months project based in Basel area.
Background:
We are looking for someone to support our client infrastructure on site in the manufacturing and laboratory area. S/he will perform the 2nd Level Support for the infrastructure components we manage, working following ITIL and CSV guidelines, define, run and document changes within the system. The candidate will be in close collaboration with Business and Quality Assurance and will also support running projects. To be prepared for the job an intensive training will be carried out at the beginning of the employment.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Implementation and qualification of client infrastructure in the manufacturing area. This includes also peripherals like label printers, barcode scanners etc.
- 2nd Level field support
- Support of projects
- Be the contact for customer for new requests/demand
- Once onboard on call support
- Close collaboration with internal and external partners like Business, Informatics, Engineering and Suppliers
Must Haves:
* 5+ years of relevant experience in supporting IT infrastructure in a manufacturing or laboratory area
* Excellent know-how in Windows OS and installation of different applications
* Fluent German speaking (CVs in German are accepted)
* Proactive investigation of issues
* Great customer focus skills and attention to details (proactive, communicative and a "thinker")
* Great communication skills, particularly in German
* Great team player
* CSV background and experience in working with IT Quality
Nice to Haves:
+++ Previous pharma experience
++ English would be an advantage
