Cisco Network Engineer

Stott and May have been engaged by a global IT services client to supply a Cisco Network Engineer. The Cisco Network Engineer must have Checkpoint knowledge as they will be providing support for operations with a large client of theirs. The Cisco Network Engineer will be responsible for the network deployment activities, such as: planning infrastructure projects, taking customers standards and creating designs, full deployment activities and network documentation.
The Cisco Network Engineer will also be responsible for the network operation requirements, such as observing central monitoring teams onsite, first line of investigation and troubleshooting, monitoring reports and incident management processes. There will also be an expectation for network life cycle management where you will be preparing hardware and software replacements and upgrades.
The Cisco Network Engineer should also have an understanding of network security, be it with policy editor or installer, they will also track and monitor activities set out by the client.
