ArcSight Engineer - Vulnerability Management wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your experience/skills:
- More than 4 years' working experience in development
- Knowledge in configuration, upgrade and level 3 support as well as DNS related issues
- Experience with ArcSight ESM version above 6.0
- Strong knowledge about flexconnector development (min. 2 years)
- Syslog feeds mainly
- In-depth experience with Scripting skills, such as Visual Basic, JavaScript, Perl and/or Shell Scripting and/or .NET Development, C# would be a plus
- Good knowledge about content development, rules, dashboards, reports, trends etc.
- Know-how of Vulnerability Management and Vulnerability products and basic experience of Splunk and/or Heavy Forwarder configuration
- Background within the banking and financial sector preferably along with experience as Security Architect, Security Engineer or similar position in a global bank would be a great advantage
- Experience with ArcSight API as a plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Conducting of ArcSight environment and implying particular ArcSight rules and configuration
- Performing research and document solution design specification along with architectural engineering
- Taking care of technical code reviews of peers and ensuring that proper coding methodology is compliant with the requirements
- Being in charge of software packaging and testing tasks as part of the SDLC processes
- Defining and driving team goals on a technical level and ensuring that the solutions proposed and designed are in accordance with the department
- Providing support in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications
