Solution Architect

One of the biggest international pharmaceutical companies with HQ in Basel is looking for a Solution Architect within experience in large scale cloud based web solutions area.
This is a challenging contracting position starting in September until the end of the year with extension possibilities.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Development of conceptual and detailed architecture for cloud-based web solutions, including: - Definition of data flows to users, patients, investigators, etc.
- Identification of technologies
- Information security concept
Requirements:
- University degree in informatics
- 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect
- Experience with large scale cloud based web solutions
- Experience with RESTful web services and database models
- Experience with security and authentication models
- Experience with architectural review processes
- Experience with web applications on cloud platforms (Azure, Amazon)
- Profound knowledge of self-contained system architecture
- Experience in a pharmaceutical environment
- Experience with Integration of heterogeneous data in R&D environments preferred
- Experience with Big data and large-scale scientific computing preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Good communications skills in German will be a plus
