NextLink is a SAP Service Company created in 1996. Through our offices in Lausanne, Basel, London, Barcelona and Bangalore we support around 60 big companies in implementing SAP based solutions.
We are currently looking for a Digital Biomarker: Professional Solutions Architect to work for our final client in Basel.
The program's focus areas are:
1) Design digital biomarkers: Define ways to capture clinical outcomes using sensor data collected from smartphones and wearables
2) Develop apps and data processing pipeline: Establish processes, software, and infrastructure to handle big data collected from sensors in clinical trials
3) Deploy digital biomarkers to clinical studies: Generate data to validate approaches and support decision making
4) Analyze and interpret sensor data: Identify signals for disease severity and progression in sensor data collected from patients in trials

- Work location: Basel
- Workload: 100%
- Remote/Home Office: Not possible.
- Travelling: Currently not planned (but up to 25% if the project requires).
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Development of conceptual and detailed architecture for cloud-based web solutions, including:
- Definition of data flows to users, patients, investigators, etc.
- Identification of technologies
- Information security concept
Must Haves:
- Very good university degree in informatics
- 5+ years of experience as Solution Architect
- Experience* with large scale cloud based web solutions
- Experience* with RESTful web services and database models
- Experience* with security and authentication models
- Experience* with architectural review processes
- Experience* with web applications on cloud platforms (Azure, Amazon)
- Profound knowledge of self-contained system architecture
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Self-starting team player used to work in global project environments
- Fluent English is a must
Hands-on experience required, should be applied/visible in the projects
Nice to Haves:
+++ Project-based work experience in the pharmaceutical industry/consulting preferred
+++ Experience with Integration of heterogeneous data in R&D environments preferred
+++ Experience with Big data and large-scale scientific computing preferred
++ German is a plus
