Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in the Basel area, is looking for an Application Business Coordinator with experience in migration/deployment projects in the application readiness area.

This is a contracting role based in the Basel area and planned to start ASAP until end of the year.

Project background:

The Application Business Coordinator (ABC) is responsible for giving guidance around all assessment and testing activities with the assigned business partners for Web-based and Manually Installed applications within the Windows 10+ project.

The ABC is the single point of contact for IT Function representatives.

IT Function representatives are accountable to ensure overall application readiness of their portfolio. Application Owners are responsible to execute a mandatory impact analysis and execute testing to ensure readiness of their assigned applications.

Tasks:

  • Continuous progress reporting, initiating corrective actions and escalation management to ensure timely application readiness

  • Close collaboration with the IT Function Coordinators

  • Dispatch of incident tickets from 2nd to 3rd level support

  • Close collaboration with the remediation team as well as Application Provisioning

  • Follow-up on issues involving required resources throughout the project

  • Follow-up with Application Owners

  • Prioritization based on criticality

Ideal Profile:

  • Experience in migration/deployment projects (eg rollout projects), ideally in the application readiness area

  • Practical experience in Project Management/Coordination

  • University degree in Business Informatics (or equivalent)

  • Technical background (would be a big plus)

  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders from different hierarchy levels

  • Independent and self-organized, used to working without direct supervision

  • Ability to learn on-the-fly and create good relationships with all project stakeholders

  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking

  • Experience in virtual and international team settings

  • Business-fluid in English and German (verbally and written - both languages are must haves)

  • Familiarity with Windows 10 in enterprise environments

  • Practical experience with the Google Office Suite toolset

Nice to Haves:

  • Background in application testing, ideally test management especially for migration readiness

  • Web development knowledge

  • HPSM user knowledge

  • ITIL (or similar) qualification

  • Spanish, French and/or Polish
