Beschreibung

Proteus Europe is searching for a skilled Hardware Engineer to come and join their development team in Switzerland.

Our Client :-
Our client is a fast growing company which has preserved its team spirit throughout all teams while providing a professional work environment. Their main products are ARM processor-based System on Modules (SoMs) which they combine with a high-quality Linux and Windows Embedded Compact Board Support Package (BSP). In order to continue providing highest quality hardware products, they are expanding their hardware development team at their headquarters in Switzerland.

Your New role :-

As a Hardware Development Engineer, you drive the complete hardware design cycle from system design, schematic capturing, PCB design, documentation, hardware bring-up, and verification and validation. You will be working together with different teams, mainly software development, procurement, and marketing. You are responsible for developing a highly robust, optimized, and generically usable System on Module including complete documentation.

We can offer a very challenging job with the possibility to work on projects using the newest ARM based System on Chip (SoC) technology from NXP, NVIDIA and other top brands. We are often in early access programs of chip vendors and therefore need to be up-to-date on the latest hardware technology developments. Our job offering is ideal for people who are passionate about hardware design. At our client, you will have the chance to partake in hardware development at its finest. Fine pitch BGAs, high-speed interfaces, up to 16-layer PCBs, latest via technology are just some examples of what you will be dealing with. Furthermore, the system design part of the development, the customer-centric documentation, and additional offering aspect make this job a very challenging and interesting opportunity.

If customers are facing very complex hardware related problems, we have our hardware engineers looking into such cases. From time to time, you will be interfacing directly with customers, helping them to get their hardware running together with our products. You will also meet customers at certain trade shows and exhibitions once or twice a year. We often have the opportunity to have talks at such events and we encourage our developers to do this. We also build demos or reference hardware for bigger exhibitions, webinars, etc.
