Windows Engineer Senior wanted for our Basel based client.
Your experience/skills:
- Degree in Computer Science and professionally recognised Windows Server certification is mandatory
- 5+ years working experience in providing support for enterprise Windows environments, preferably in a banking environment
- Extensive experience of Microsoft SQL Technologies like MSSQL, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis and Reporting Services
- Expertise in VMware virtualized Windows Environments along with Server Deployment, Patching, Active Directory and Group policies
- In-depth experience in ITIL business-focused support delivery concepts as well as in incident, problem, release, change, configuration and capacity management processes
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken. Good knowledge of German desirable
Your tasks:
- Supporting the company Windows Server, Active Directory, Group policies, Server Deployment and Patching SCCM along with Microsoft SQL Technologies
- Taking responsibility for Change-management in a banking environment
- Working as a part of a team of systems engineers with the primary responsibility for the operation and maintenance and support of the company's IT Windows environment
- Working outside normal working hours during service windows and providing on-call cover for evenings and weekends
