Banking Application Supporter (Unix/Oracle/SQL)
On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a several Application Supporters with extensive Unix, SQL and Oracle experience. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Responsibilities:
- Work on incidents in the software deployment and server build areas. Identify the incident root cause and resolve issues.
- Work with internal IT customers to provide them consulting services over the supported tools
- Work with engineering teams on new tools implementation
- Documentation and maintenance of per-application support procedures
Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in 1st or 2nd level user/application support in Unix/Linux environment
- Proven SQL Server and Oracle experience
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
- Banking industry experience
- Ability to handle stressful situations and work efficiently
- Flexibility to provide on-call service
- A high level of service orientation and willingness to work independently but in a team
- Fluent English skills are required
