L2 Support wanted for our Zürich based client in the ICT sector.
Your experience/skills:
- 3 - 8 years' working experience as L2 support, preferably within a Financial organisation with proven track record of high performance in a service orientated environment
- Familiarity with Unix and Windows Server primarily in: handling files, searching logs and checking processes
- Extensive experience with SQL and PL/SQL querying in Oracle or MS SQL as well as basic knowledge of bash and Shell Scripting and confidence with MS Excel
- Excellent knowledge of release and deployment procedures
- A deep understanding of IT and technology in general with a desire to work in a service orientated support function accompanied by excellent problem-solving skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be an asset
Your tasks:
- Monitoring of all in-scope applications as well as all scheduled jobs in environment
- Investigating and updating the knowledge database, providing resolution for complex and new incidents falling under L2 preview
- Assisting in resolving all failures, delays and diagnostics of problems, issues and defects
- Reviewing and Facilitating complex and business critical investigations where solution is not identified in first place
- Completing data fix, UT, SIT and UAT testing for incidents in need of data fix in diverse regions
