SQL Application Supporter
On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for an Application Supporter with extensive Unix and SQL experience. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:
- Work on incidents in the software deployment and server build areas. Identify the incident root cause and resolve issues.
- Work with internal IT customers to provide them consulting services over the supported tools
- Work with engineering teams on new tools implementation
- Documentation and maintenance of per-application support procedures
Skills:
- Over 4 years of demonstrated experience in 2nd level user/application support in Unix/Linux environment
- Strong know-how in supporting SQL applications and querying (Oracle/Microsoft SQL)
- Know-how in Mainframe (AS400) and PL1
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to handle stressful situations and work efficiently
- Flexibility to provide on-call service
- A high level of service orientation and willingness to work independently but in a team
- Fluent English skills are required
