Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, operate and support the CH MS SQL & Sybase Infrastructure Environment
- Active participation in the resolution of system and performance issues
- Close working relationship with other team members locally and globally to provide understanding across all components of the database environments
- DBA support for development teams and involvement in recommendations for new projects
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, high self-motivation, ability to work with minimal guidance
- Knowledge management, including documentation
- OnCall (Pikett)
- Testing of new Database releases/Infrastructure components
- Change and Incident Ticket handling
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 4 years' experience and extensive knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server
- Good knowledge of Windows & SQL Server Clustering based on Windows Server with VERITAS
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of installing and configuring SQL Server- Reporting Services, Integrations Services, Analysis Services
- Graduate degree or higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
