Datacom Engineer opening in Bern

Job Summary:

The job consists of delivery datacom project.

Relative datacom device include Router, switch, Network management system, SDN.

Very high skills in datacom protocol knowledge.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Network design: provide solution to customer base on customer requirement, create and update network design document
  • Solution test: prepare test environment in lab, create test proposal and test case. Execute test case, provide test report. Trouble shoot during test.
  • I&C: Supervise the hardware installation of datacom device. Integrate datacom device to the live network.
  • Migration: prepare migration solution and procedure. Migrate service from existing network to new datacom device/network. Trouble shoot during migration.
  • External and internal interface for project coordination
  • Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical configuration and support service to our customers independently or jointly with the technical support team
  • Provide training to customers, subcontractors or service partners

Experiences & Qualifications:

  • University degree or above, Master's Degree preferred.
  • Good IP technical background (OSPF, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, VXLAN, IPV6,AAA, L2TP, PPPOE, QoS, LACP, Multicast)
  • Have NMS(Network management system) and SDN software knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of BRAS product
  • Working experience for Huawei Router/Switch/BRAS is prefer
  • CCIE/CCNP is prefer
  • Mature and positive attitudes; strong sense of quality; able to work well in a fast-paced, multi-culture dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written, oral and listening skills in English. German. French and Italian are a plus.
