Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Hadoop Admin to work on a project in Zurich, Switzerland.
Required skills/experience:
- Solid overall experience
- Good experience in Unix Administration/Any DB Administration work
- Good experience in Hadoop Administration
- Hands on experience in installing Hadoop Cluster
- Able to perform BCP/DR activities
- Able to Monitor the Hadoop servies
- Able to help in Capacity Planning, add/delete nodes
- Cluster Performance monitorting
- Exposure to Automation management
- Cloudera Admin support certification
- Good understanding on Mapreduce framework
- Incident Management
- Release Management
- Good Communication and Application Management

The contract duration is for 12 months initially with likelihood of extension.
