We provide the specialists, who work as a dedicated resource within the organization structure of the customer, while having the support-structure of an experienced IT company as a base.
For our client located in the North of Zurich, we are looking for a Infrastructure / Datacenter Architect
YOUR ROLE:
You will be involved 100% in an internal project related to the setup of our new generation datacenter. The project is already in an advanced phase: hardware design, ordering and physical installation are already completed tasks. In the current phase we need this resource to support us in:
- The final validation, handover from the IT integrator
- Definition validation and documentation of operational processes
- Setup of the high availability application cluster
- Testing and validation of performance and resilience
- Setup of basic services (DNS, mail, …)
- Configuring monitoring and alerting systems
- Setup of automation and orchestration (UCS director/ACI policy)
- Backup restore and disaster recovery (with testing procedures)
- Setup of the migration of our services and systems currently running on our old infrastructure (which will be decommissioned by the end of this project)
YOUR PROFILE:
Must have skills:
- Experience as a Technical Project Manager in an Infrastructure / Datacenter Environment
- Experienced with Network Engineering and SDN
- Know-how Virtualization: VMware
- Know-how Storage: NetApp (SnapMirror and SnapValut)
- Know-how Database: MySql including clustering techniques
- Know-how with DCI / Disaster Recovery
- Know-how with Linux Administration (CentOS)
Nice to have skills:
- Cisco ACI
- Cisco UCS Director (or other Orchestration framework)
- MySql performance tuning
- Role model access, ldap and security/audit
- Experience with test plan requirements
- Containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Cassandra Clusters
- ActiveMQ
- Mail Systems (DKIM, DMARC etc.)
- Splunk, Zabbix for Logging/Monitoring
