Network Security Engineer
On behalf of our end client, we are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer.For this contract position based in Bern, Switzerland our client is looking for an English and German speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your on the job tasks will include;
- Organizing, creating and functioning an operational Network Security system
- Building network architecture and secure concepts
- Perform evaluation and troubleshooting of network security platforms (Firewall/IPS)
- Further development of Firewall and IPS platforms
- Plan and perform maintenance and rollouts
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
- At least 3 years proven experience working with network security systems
- Proven experience with the following Firewalls (Forcepoint, Fortinet, Checkpoint and/or Huawei)
- A firm understanding of MPLS
- Good knowledge of dynamic routing (preferably BGP)
- Previous history using script languages for automation
- Independent, team-oriented, analytical work focused
- You must be fluent in German and good English
