Windows Solution Engineer with Python and Unix experience wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- At least 2 years' experience in supporting Windows Server Platform
- Knowledge on UNIX platforms would be an advantage
- Solid background in programming in R and Python
- Perl, Java and as well as Unix Shell Scripting (bash, ksh, csh), job control system (JCS, autosys) and source control systems would be an advantage
- Team player with an independent working routine
- 2+ years' working experience in Oracle Database Development including modelling and development in Oracle PL/SQL
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Setting up strategic data feed between systems along with coordinating infrastructure teams on the creation and setup of new core components
- Creating build and deployment scripts to streamline delivery as well as developing new platform components or change existing ones to support the calculations
- Establishing security and control mechanisms to assist SOX and SDLC compliance
- Commissioning new infrastructure to support cluster-based calculations
