For one of our clients - a renowned bank in Basel, we are searching for an experienced SharePoint Administrator.
Employment: 80-100%
Start date: 03.04.2017
End date: 30.09.2017
Main responsibilities:
- Migrations from Legacy systems
- Server upgrades
- Patching and server maintenance
- SharePoint 2013 farms management, provisioning and design
- Management of SharePoint Enterprise Search Services
- Monitoring and reporting
- Maintenance of synchronisation across productive and non-productive environments
- Active cooperation with the SharePoint team to ensure best practices implementation and proper Architecture decisions
- Operating as an interface to Site Collection Managers
- Contribution to documentation of configuration, processes, topologies, practices
- Security maintenance (of the Farm and its assets)
- Analysis and reports on the SharePoint usage
- Internal support of people within the team on the wider rollout of SharePoint
Main requirements:
- Broad knowledge of SharePoint 2013, the associated technologies and service, such as OneDrive for Business
- Strong experience in SharePoint Search
- Excellent PowerShell skills, as well as PS remoting management
- Administrator of SharePoint Farms, starting from SharePoint 2007, which includes multi-farm scenarios
- Proven knowledge of SharePoint Migration tools
- Background in SharePoint Content Deployment (using PS and out of the box APIs)
- Experience in using Kerberos and other authentication methods
- Experience with management of SharePoint App (Add-In) model
- Skills in implementation of High-Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
- Network Load Balancing experience
- Able to perform troubleshooting and performance tuning of SharePoint farms
- Strong understanding of supporting platforms and services, eg IIS, ADFS, SQL, etc.
- Solid understanding of SharePoint end-user services and features
