Cobol Developer
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced Cobol Developer to join one of their clients, a global consulting firm. For this temporary assignment based in Zürich, we are seeking for an English speaking candidate who is immediately available.

Your tasks:
- Responsible in developing software components in accordance within the given requirement specifications and project's adopted standard.
- Creates detailed design out of the Software Requirement Specification that is consistent with the software architecture.
- Build codes with good performance, maintainable, and according to the project's coding standards.
- Provides recommendation on how to improve the performance of the processing.
- Ensures design/development deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and high-quality.
- Participates in SRS review, analyse and challenge the requirements.
- Supports Project Lead and works with the team in development issues, coaches other team members as needed, and provides improvements on development processes.
Must Have:
- Can perform all tasks in Software Delivery Lifecycle (Requirement Analysis, Design, Build, Deployment, Test Support/Defect Fixing)
- Experience in Production Support
- Strong Technical skills in Cobol, JCL, TSO/ISPF, Changeman, CodeWright, and HP Quality Center
- Knowledgeable in IBM-DB2 incl. SPUFI (able to analyse and design complex SQL)
- Knowledgeable in Batch-Processing
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
