Our client, a global leading bank, is looking for a 3rd Level Application Support Analyst to join the Web Infrastructure Team in Zurich. The web infrastructure team in Zurich supports the production and Application Server infrastructure for all lines of business located in Switzerland. This 3rd Level Application Support Analyst job will also be building and configuring the systems with the web infrastructure and application support team in Zurich.
As 3rd Level Support you will be responsible for supporting web and application Servers globally, and migrating existing applications into clouds. Upgrading existing infrastructure is an important part of the job, as well as installation and configuration of new web application support infrastructure. In this job as 3rd Level Application Support in Zurich you will build relationships with application teams as you support them moving onto the new infrastructure, and will be able to identify any opportunities to automate processes to improve service.

For the 3rd Level Application Support team in this bank, you must have strong experience working in a large and complex web hosting environments with either Apache web Servers, Tomcat or IBM WebSphere application Servers. Strong UNIX/Linux skills are essential, and experience with cloud platforms, such as HP Stakato, would be very beneficial. German language is desirable, and fluent English is essential for this job in Zurich.
