For a project at our client based in Geneva, we are looking for a experienced

Project Manager - Meeting Management System (4112)

Our client is managing hundreds of meetings every year. This involves booking a physical room, asking for amenities (such as tvs, flipcharts, pens, name tags, etc.), asking for hospitality services, and others (such as interpreters, printing of documentation, need for video-/web conferencing, broadcasting). There is a need to innovate the way these services are booked with new technological solutions, streamlined processes and integrated systems. The business unit has engaged with the department of Information Management and Technology to lead a project in selecting and implement a solution to support the management of meetings (physical or virtual) on a global scale.

Your Qualifications:

-Recent professional experience in project planning, management and successful delivery of cross functional projects, some of which should be at the global or international level
-Experienced in driving solution implementation of conferencing systems, meeting management or booking systems, or related projects
-Demonstrated experience in managing other application development projects .NET, Sharepoint, or other MS-based or web-based platforms
-Demonstrated professional experience working with senior-level management
-Proven experience in cultural, multi-disciplinary environment; separated by geographical locations and working under different time-zones
-Ability to promote best practices, advise on improvements, independently perform research, and apply information from a broad range of sources
-Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, advocate, motivate, resolve conflict, and adapt relevant leadership styles to a variety of situations
-Excellent communication (both oral and written), problem solving and analytical skills
-Strong supervisory, organizational, management, and consultancy skills
-Proactive and resourceful personality

Your Responsibilities:

-Manage all assigned initiatives (possibly multiple initiatives at a time) including refinement and coordination of project governance processes
-Manage the projects effectively according to the triple-constraint of “scope-time- resource” to ensure that the projects under her/his responsibilities remain at optimum efficiency and organization
-Perform detailed project planning, resource scheduling, progress monitoring, issue resolution and risk management.
-Act as the principal point of contact regarding status of assigned projects. Develop project related documentation e.g. project ID cards, business cases, project initiation documents, detailed stage plans etc.
-Perform critical business analysis on initiatives to determine viability, relevance, and success
-Manage all senior stakeholder engagements and provide regular progress updates. Communicate issues to project team and the project governing bodies in a timely manner, and asks for intervention where necessary
-Provide professional solutions or consulting services to other ICT project managers, both in HQ and Regional Offices
-Promote and adhere to the methodology established by the Project Management Office of the IT department
-Manage relationship with all third party entities (near shore, offshore or outsource) resources such as system integrators, contractors, or consultants in order to achieve the desired project outcomes
