For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:
Senior SAP Basis/License Admin Workbench (LAW) 80%
Background:
This position is a temporary member of the SAP Infrastructure team within ERP - Architecture and Infrastructure Services. The Senior SAP Basis/LAW will assist the IT project leader in analysing SAP Infrastructure as an Asset and help build certain key deliverables. Since the assignment is very temporary and deliverables need to be addressed quickly and independently, it is essential that you have previously worked in the area of SAP Basis/LAW. You will support the IT project leader, coordinate with IT Procurement on various aspects of SAP asset.
Tasks:
- Work with IT project leader, SAP Basis team, IT Procurement Category manager, IT Procurement Software asset management team for various aspects of this project and complete the deliverables as defined with you.
- Suggest and Improve and aspects for better solutions, components, and processes;
- Identifying and analysing potential areas for improvement of SAP LAW and other data related to it (pro-active problem management) and delivering continuous improvement;
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the pharma industry and understanding of the existing landscapes is essential
- +5 years of experience in the area of SAP Basis including LAW and components related to SAP license measurements
- 5-9 years of experience working in a major, global organization preferably in a regulated Industry in multiple technical domains;
- Experience with components related to SAP Basis/Hana
- Experience with components such as Hana studio
- Experience in identifying the Software components, engines and metrics.
- Unix and Linux Administration experience
- Experience in reviewing the software consumption and system performance and provide recommendations for improvements
- Excellent ability to handle communications with a variety of component and solution owners
- Ability to independently handle given tasks and organize themselves for a given task
- Strong technical and problem solving skills
- Ability to document and translate business requirements to provide technology solutions
- Experience in SAP Installations
- Experience in the following SAP applications from a Basis perspective: SAP ECC6, SAP PI, SAP BW, HANA, BOBJ, CRM, CLM, SAP Enterprise Portal and Solution Manager
- Strong hands-on technical skills, operational background, and working experience with infrastructure technologies and business applications;
- Excellent analytic skills with ability to quickly understand complex and sometimes ambiguous situations; good strategic capabilities;
- Fluent in verbal and written English.

Duration: 3 months, till 12.03.2017 (with possible extension)
Work location: Basel
Work load: 80%, Friday will be off (onsite from Monday to Thursday)
