For an 8 months project at our client's site, an international bank based in Bern, we are looking for an experienced

German Speaking IT Project Manager - App development (4078)

The successful candidate will manage budget/forecast/actuals across the work streams using standard portfolio and project management tools.

Your Qualifications:

- Project management and front to back delivery experience
- Experience in engaging third party providers on a commercially robust level
- Strong business knowledge of the Banking and/or Financial Services industries
- Good know-how of Java development and Mainframe areas
- Several years of work experience in similar role, broad leadership and transformation experience
- Proven track record of several years’ experience of delivery and execution of IT projects
- Experience in building up and leading a sizeable organization
- Good business know-how within the financial industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills and are used to work and communicate effectively with senior management
- Proven track record of managing mid-large IT projects – budget, scope, quality & risks with globally distributed teams
- Knowledge of project management tools & systems
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Fluent in English and German speaking

Your Responsibilities:

- Leading more than one middle budget IT projects in a growing area of IT Mortgages & Risk Management Products
- The Project Management activities include scope confirmation, definition of implementation approach, resource
- planning, budget and actuals tracking, milestone tracking and stakeholder and business client management
- Identification and management of risks and issues
- Influence and align status reporting activities across multiple groups including IT, Change and Line
- Ensure consistent reporting of budgets/actuals/forecasts
- Maintain traceability & change control around budgets
- Directing project team to ensure deliverable timelines are met
- Manages relationships and coordinates work between different teams and locations
- Coordinate with IT Teams to schedule and complete assigned tasks
- Close collaboration with stakeholders within IT and Business across the whole bank
