Our client is an international Tier1 bank located in Zurich.
We're looking for a degree educated individual with 1-3 years working experience in Financial Services as contractor/consultant/temporary employee acting as Junior Business Manager supporting the COO office's Business Management & Development team in the bank's Investment Management Division.
Candidates must be residents of Switzerland.
Tasks
- General Investment Management (IM) business management tasks (support Head IM, management update, budget and FTE tracking, risk assessment, etc.)
- Participation in cross-functional and cross-divisional projects during all stages, from initial analysis, definition of business cases and business processes, to implementation and monitoring
- Setup IM management cockpit
- Development of business cases
- Drive IM business model by understanding, challenging and optimising existing processes and the impact of changes in the organisation
- In-depth analysis of IM on all business-relevant dimensions (products, locations, profitability, efficiency, segmentation etc.)
- Life Cycle Management of all IM product and business cases validations
Requirements
- University degree or other higher education in Business Administration or equivalent
- First experience in (Private) Banking would be an asset
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, structured thinking, regularly meeting tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel, Access and PowerPoint applications
- Reliable, client centric, result driven and highly motivated personality
- Open-minded and able to deal with different cultures
- Fluency in English & German (written & spoken)
