Senior Business Analyst Pharma - Product Strategy
Project background:
We are looking for an IT consultant who has experience in the product strategy (commercial & marketing) environment. GPS IT is partnering with the Innovative Pricing department in Global Product Strategy (GPS) to deploy advanced market access models (PRM - Personalized Reimbursement Models) at country level. You as a business analyst shall work together with the IT Team that collaborates with the business, specifically in the Country Consultancy stream.
We are not looking only for a technical IT Business Analyst but also a person who has a profound pharma background. You needs to understand the pharma market but also the IT side to evaluate the best model.
Tasks:
Providing consultancy in the following activities:
- Monitor countries where the model implementation is on-hold
- Knowledge and best practice sharing across countries from EU, LATAM & EEMEA
- Evaluate the level of maturity of the local environment with respect to model
- Implementation and provide adequate IT support
- Assess IT healthcare environment and data landscape at country level
- Analyze and evaluate available data, data sources, local vendors and 3rd parties
- Agile and flexible in the implementation of IT solutions and services to enable PRM
- Follow-up with the countries during hyper care period to ensure that quality and performance objectives of deployed IT solutions and services are met
- Organize/contribute to workshops and seminars at global/regional/local level
- Manage regular checkpoint meetings with affiliates
- Provide active status updates to IT team, global and region
- Participate to team meetings
Requirements:
- Senior-level experience in business analysis in the pharmaceutical industry
- Business process analysis and modelling skills
- Able to document business cases
- Able to gather and document business and IT requirements
- Data modelling skills
- Experience in interacting with senior management
- Full professional proficiency in English and German
- Able to facilitate workshops with audience of 50+ people
- Strong analytical mindset, Goal-oriented, Teamwork-oriented
- Able to deal with a steep learning curve and to become productive in a very short time
Start date: 01.11.2016
Duration: Till 30.06.2017 (with possible extension)
Work location: Basel (no remote option)
Travelling: around 20% all over the world
