For a longer term project at our client site in Reinach, the French part of Switzerland, we are looking for an experiencedGerman speaking Junior Service Desk Support (3981)
In this role you will be responsible in providing a high quality service desk first line telephone support service. As part of the Service Desk team, you will be responsible for responding to all customer and user contact with the helpdesk and to accurately record and track calls with the proper support teams.
Your Skills:
-Experience as an Onsite Support Technician
-Customer oriented
-3+ years in MS Windows and MS Office 365, Active Directory maintenance, PC hardware, peripherals, printers, networking
-Client PC connectivity - Ethernet, TCP/IP and VPN, File server knowledge
-Strong organizational, interpersonal and coordination skills
-Fluent in English and German, both written and oral
About the Role:
-Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
-Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
-Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues
-Troubleshooting system and basic network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
-Replacing parts as required
-Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
-Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
-Supporting the roll-out of new applications
-Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
-Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs
-Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
-Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time
-Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, e.g., software developers
-Testing and evaluating new technology
