Vulnerability Management Consultant (m/f)

About our client

Our client is one of the biggest manufacturing companies with a global scope.

On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is currently looking for a Vulnerability Management Consultant to join global T&T initiative within Service Management area.

Your mission

- Provide business and system owners with clear information about the current situation of systems regarding missing patches and vulnerabilities

- Update Master asset lists

- Analyze authentication mechanisms of Servers to create the correct authentication record within the VM environment

- Execute security scans over Servers

- Analyze and explain results of the Vulnerability scans to systems owners or designated technical contacts

- Validate results of security scans in case of concerns from system owners or administrators

- Support teams that are responsible for patching in case of requests for further advice or troubleshooting

- Liaise between support teams responsible for patching and QualysGuard support team

- Maintain the policies related to tickets creation and exclusions

Your background

- Graduate level with IT focus or equivalent practical experience

- Experience performing vulnerability scans or penetration testing services for a consultancy or large enterprise organization

- Experience with patch management processes and products

- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (QualysGuard Vulnerability Management)

- Good understanding of vulnerabilities at any level, their consequences and remediation

- An understanding of the fundamentals of IP communication protocol

- Comprehension of the typical methods and components used during a vulnerability assessment

- Senior stakeholder management experience

- Very strong communication skills

- Fluency in English
