For a project at our client, an international banking company in Zurich, we are looking for aDelivery Manager – Disaster Recovery (3913)
The candidate will be part of the Service Continuity team. The person will be performing the planning and coordination of Disaster Recovery of critical applications, coordination of critical events for infrastructure maintenance / management across IT, Resiliency Testing, contributing to the management of the production environment by creating and enhancing processes and best practices within the Service Continuity function.
Your qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as a delivery manager ideally within financial services industry
- Experienced in complex DR testing and coordination of large critical events
- Experienced in collaborating with many different functions provides opportunity to learn and develop in the role.
- Excellent communications skills, written and verbal in English
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills;
- Good knowledge of core technologies - e.g. Sybase, Oracle, Storage, Operating systems, web portals and components;
- Exposure to project management
Your Responsibilities:
- Working with Infrastructure team/Business Continuity Management teams, application developers
- Planning, coordination & Project management (70%), Event Execution, Resiliency / availability, Other Ad-hoc activities 10%
- Perform planning, coordination and project management of Disaster Recovery exercises and major event maintenance activities
- Plan and coordinate Resiliency initiatives and Business continuity mgmt processes
- Working with support teams, application development and technical teams to define, plan, execute and monitor & control critical activities.
- Interact with people from different disciplines
