For a long term project of our client, an international Banking company, we are looking for an experiencedSystem Engineer – Datacenter (3775)
In this position, you will play a key role in the agile delivery of automation solutions for infrastructure and software delivery. You will contribute to a fast moving scrum team, working closely together with your team mates in a self-deterministic environment to turn requirements into end product with a high level of quality and integrity.
Your requirements:
-Experience with operating system engineering / administration on both platform Linux (RHEL 5, 6, 7) and Windows server (2008, 2012) environments, proficiency in Linux is desirable
-Proven track record of designing scalable multi-location infrastructure platforms
-Experience with IT systems management platforms such as SaltStack, Ansible, Chef or Puppet
-Good understanding of open source projects available for systems management space
-Experience with both consumption and creating of Web Services (SOAP, REST)
-Practical experience with networking concepts (switching, routing, firewalls, etc.)
-Strong programming and scripting skills in Python and Unix Shell
-Systems integration experience in virtualized ecosystems (VMWare)
-Experienced with container technologies (Docker, LXC, Rocket)
-Infrastructure technology related certification are a plus (MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, RHCE, VCP)
-Good communication skills in English

-Engineering cloud (IaaS, PaaS) solutions
-Be involved in solution architecture and design
-Provide 3rd level support for production issues
-Play a key role in the decommissioning of legacy systems and adoption of new systems
