Project Portfolio Manager (Manufacturing IT, 50%) (m/f)
About our client
Our client is world-wide known pharmaceutical company based in Switzerland.
On behalf of our client Swisslinx are looking for a dynamic and pro-active Manufacturing Project Portfolio Manager. This is a 50% contract role based in Basel.
Your mission
- Act as a day-to-day liaison with Manufacturing Site IT Leads/PMs on the required processes/tasks to align new proposals with the overall IT portfolio, Manufacturing and Engineering business portfolios
- Work with the various IT and business portfolios/managers to ensure alignment of portfolio management/planning processes, identifying gaps and creating action plans for remediation
- Monitor the health of all Manufacturing IT projects
- Identify, develop and manage required communication channels to keep other Portfolio Managers informed on impacts on portfolios
- Work closely with Manufacturing IT Architect and Information Managers to forecast future needs and impacts to budgets and site/network project prioritization to proactively manage new upcoming proposals and the resource demands that will be required
- Lead and align annual planning efforts with the Manufacturing business portfolio managers, Site IT leads, Portfolio Managers of other IT departments
- Work with the various portfolios and business areas on continuous improvements in portfolio management processes
- Provide ongoing support for Manufacturing IT stakeholders with regards to the Manufacturing and Engineering IT portfolio management processes and practices
Your background
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Portfolio Manager
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager for Global Projects
- Manufacturing IT area experience
- Fluency in English
- Good communication and presentation skills
