For a six month project at our client, an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for aGerman speaking PMO - Banking (3857)
In this role you will be responsible for assiting managers in the definition, initiation, execution and closure of projects and programmes to change the infrastructure on which the Bank’s IT applications run. Day to day assistance involves managing project finances and status, delivery tracking, architectural compliance as well as providing support to portfolio governace committees.
Your Qualifications:
-3 years experience in project management / project management office
-Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure and terminology
-Good understanding of project financial control
-Excellent communication skills specifically with PMs/PMOs
-Self motivated and reliable team player
-Excellent process orientation with attention to detail
-Analytical approach to problem solving
-Proficiency with MS Office applications and experience with SharePoint
-Persistence and assertiveness to bring actions to closure
-CA Clairty and JIRA/Confluence experience is of advantage
-Fluent English (spoken and written)
About the role:
-Planning: project plan structuring, scheduling, levelling, resource alloction and dependency tracking
-Financial management: assistance in business case development and annual planning, capital expenditure tracking, contract tracking as welll as project forecasting and actuals checking
-Control: development and execution of the QA plan, risk and issue management
-Reporting and communication: progess, status and forecats to stakeholders at all levels, meeting management
-Coaching and support of new PMs and PMOs
