For a six month project at our client, an international bank, we are looking for an experienced

Senior J2EE Developer – Web (3841)

In this position you will design and develop complex applications and external website to support a program following best practices and formal methodologies for Packaged Retail and Insurance-based Investment Products (PRIIP).

Your qualifications:
-Strong knowledge of Java, JSF, J2EE and Oracle development as well as hands on experience on webservices, Spring and other Java EE technologies
-At least 10 years’ experience in IT software engineering area, working with Agile (Scrum) approaches, JIRA/Confluence etc.
-Recent work experience within a bank / financial services, regulatory projects would be ideal
-Experience in working with a team and in delivering all phases of the systems development lifecycle as well as broad technology delivery (incl. custom & website development)
-Experience in providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to clients
-Experience with injecting new technology into enterprise systems as well as with implementing enterprise level External Websites
-Fluent in English (Verbal and written)

Your responsibilities:
-Implement software covering the project lifecycle, establishing and implementing stringent processes and procedures for designing, developing, testing and promoting code in compliance with company guidelines and industry best practices ensuring a maintainable solution
-Analyse user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
-Identify critical mission gaps, redundancies, and dependencies aligned with component impacts or costs
-Ensure high standards and quality of technical solutions, keep abreast of technology developments and drives technology innovation where appropriate
