For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a FENICS Subject Matter Expert or Business Analyst
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months initial contract + very likely extensions
Location: Zurich
Essential skills
At least 3-5 years of experience in a business analysis role
Good understanding of FX derivatives instruments
Good knowledge of GFI/FENICS
Must be able to produce high quality functional and technical documentation intended for business users as well as development teams
Possess excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills;
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment is essential
Desirable skills
Experience in supporting trading desks
Job description:
FENICS SME interfacing with users and senior stakeholders
experience in Business Analysis and Project Management
3rd level support for FENICS (incident and problem handling)
good understanding of derivative instruments in the FX market (FX Options)
contribute to various internal projects as FENICS representative
review, definition and execution of IT and business concepts for FENICS
experience in working in a large financial institution
Break down of duties
50% of the time contributing to various internal projects as FENICS. About 35% is spent on coordinating with various stake holders ie business users, business engineers, production support for testing. About 10-15% time spent 3rd Level Support

FENICS is a GFI product which supports all aspects of FX option activity from Pricing, Automated Price Distribution, Trading, Risk Management and Post trade Processing (STP, Trade Reporting, etc.)
