Senior IT Project Manager - AML/Transaction Monitoring (3726)
Project Overview
This is a critical Senior Project Manager role to manage several key initiatives in the Financial Crime Compliance department of our client. It requires extensive interaction with FCC business stakeholder to ensure compliance of risk management procedures, systems, and policies. A strong project management experience with an ability to manage multiple projects, managing teams and managing user acceptance testing and providing effective and timely solutions to constantly evolving FCC business and regulatory is needed.
Your qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in IT industry
- 8+ years of IT Project Management experience
- Experience in financial industry (preferably in Compliance-IT)
- Experience on an FCC tool like Oracle Mantas or Actimize
- Full IT Lifecycle know-how
- Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Solid problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
- Experience in managing multiple projects, global business stakeholders and technology teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior management
- Ability to provide senior level reporting for IT projects, programs and operations
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus
- Strong organization and administration skills, and ability to define and operate robust processes and procedures, and guide others in doing the same
- Understanding of FCC concepts in several of the following areas:
-Transaction monitoring
-Risk Assessment
-KYC/CDD/EDD/OFAC
-Sanctions Screening
-Fraud
-Suspicious Activity Reporting
-Pattern analysis
- Strong technology background, with a focus on Risk and Compliance
- Fluent in English language (spoken and written), German is a plus
