Senior Project and Engagement Manager - CLOUD project Banking
Our client, a leading global technology company, is currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their project in Zurich. As a Senior Project/Engagement Manager you will be responsible for managing a multinational, highly complex customer transformation program in the "Cloud Area". You will be responsible for executive briefings to create visibility of the content and associated risks of the engagement. You will need to manage the client's processes, compliance and minimize financial and legal risks. In the delivery phase you will engage as a project manager, where you lead technical and commercial teams. You will be responsible for all defined deliverables, keep milestones and timelines, manage the financials of the project and be a trusted advisor for the customer.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a large, global engagement in the Financial Services Industry
- Creating and controlling deal financials for the project and negotiate share-the-pain/gain models across BU's
- You are the leader for large projects within a business unit and a contributor role to cross business unit projects
- Achieving project objectives within the agreed constraints (Time, Quality and Budget)
- Control scope, change management and risk management
- Managing business development by identifying and developing new opportunities with the client
What qualifications are needed?
- Fluency in English and German
- International project management experience (minimum 7-10 years) in managing multi-disciplinary teams in ICT infrastructure environments
- Cloud and Datacenter automation experience
- Proven experience in leading teams both remotely and on-site
- Experience in PMP and Agile techniques and speak with authority to highest layers of depth related to project management methods
- You are an excellent planner/organizer/decision maker
- You are able to exercise independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives
- You communicate with internal and external senior management confidently and demonstrate the professionalism of the job family
- You are customer focused and able to fulfil the wishes of the customer to investigate and respond to them within the given frameworks
- You are able to demonstrate a broad understanding of market dynamics, an industry area, commercial issues, and technical concerns whilst maintaining depth in core focus
