I am currently seeking an Electronics Test/AIT Engineer to work with my client on a contract basis, some key information regarding the vacancy is as follows:
Key Information
My client is a well-known and established space company that provides various solutions for space applications and are involved in major ESA projects from inception through to completion.
Some of the activities carried out on this particular site are:
*Payload fairings and structures for launch vehicles
*Structures and mechanisms for satellites
*Optical communications systems
*Scientific instruments
*Radiation meters for satellites
*Laser altimeters
*Testing services
Following a number of new projects, they are currently seeking an experienced Electronics Test Engineer that can demonstrate skills & experience in the following:
*Previous experience of Board level testing
*Experience of Unit testing including environmental testing (vibration, EMC etc)
*This project relates to an optical communications device, therefore previous experience of dealing with communication devices (RF etc.) would be a distinct advantage.
*Previous experience within the space industry would be an advantage but other safety critical experience from other industries is welcomed (Defence, Medical, Automotive etc.)
