For our Life Science client in Basel, we are seeking a Storage and Backup Engineer
Start date: 15th April 2016
End Date: 31st December 2016
Location: Basel
Language: English + German/French is a plus
Your Role: Storage and Backup System Engineer working in Research IT Storage
Your role:
Engineer and maintain NAS network storage infrastructure hardware and software
Support storage and backup enlivenment - EMC Isilon, NetApp
Support technical storage projects eg data migration and hardware life cycle
Maintain SOP and WI for quality management
Support and implement disaster recovery solutions
Enhance and manage storage tools
Provide storage report on-request
Increase security capabilities and mitigate risks
Ensure infrastructure implementation of global standards, policies and regulatory compliance
Create and maintain documentation
Your experience:
4+ years NAS storage
Good experience in storage operation environment eg NetApp, Isilon IOQ
Netapp 7mode to cdot migration in multi-protocol environments
EMC-VNX, Brocade or Cisco SAN Fabric Switches, Veritas Netbackup, Datadomain
Linux/Unix and bash/powershell Scripting
